excalibur dehydrators are the Rolls Royce of the dehydrator world, apart from excellent build quality the excalibur range have the fan and heater mounted in the end panel of the unit rather than the bottom which other brands stick to. The end mounting, although more expensive creates much more even dehydrating and a superior end product! There you go, that's the excellence of the excalibur explained!

To add to the capabilities of your excalibur dehydrator you can buy ParaFlexx sheets. These are non-stick solid sheets, recommended for use with liquids, purees and pastes. They are washable and re-useable, as well as being porous, allowing good even airflow for thorough dehydrating. Great for fruity, sticky stuff too as they are easier to wash than the trays!
ParaFlexx sheets are additonal to the polyscreen inserts that come as standard with the dehydrator and are to be used with anything that may drip through the standard inserts.
